Mad River is excited to be in development of a new play this year. We are currently conducting interviews and research about the works programs of the 1930’s, including the WPA (Works Progress Administration). In the spring, we look forward to compiling our work into a new production, tentatively titled The Living WPA. Feel free to contact us for more information on the production and for booking opportunities.
This project has been made possible by continued support from the National Endowment for the Arts and an exciting new partner for us, PNC Arts Alive.
Mad River Theater Works has received a grant of $45,000.00 from PNC Arts Alive, a three-year, $1.5-million grant initiative from The PNC Foundation. This prestigious grant award will fund further development, documentation and touring of this year’s production.
