| Davy Crockett Davy Crockett was an American original. He came into this world in the same year as the United States Constitution and he helped shape our young democracy through wit and wisdom he learned on the frontier. Crockett was a pioneer, congressman, and entrepreneur who created his own legend and then used it to help others. Mad River Theater Works has been creating original plays with music based on history and folklore for more than 25 years. Like past productions such as Freedom Bound, John Henry and Casey Jones, Davy Crockett uses storytelling, drama, and music to bring an important character from American traditional culture to life. |
